Alkali Solutions sells highly reactive lime solutions for pH correction in water and waste water treatment. Limesol and Puresol are manufactured using patented additives which minimise agglomeration increasing the surface area and the reactivity of the calcium hydroxide solution. Limesol is a waste water product whilst Puresol is approved under Reg 31 for use in drinking water, both are 45% strength with anti-scaling properties. The high reactivity results in lower usage when compared with other lime slurries. Puresol can also replace caustic soda in many drinking water applications.
